Consultation - get involved

22 October 2021

He Ako Hiringa works closely with the primary care sector to design and deliver clinical resources. We are always looking for clinicians to assist in all stages of resource development. Whether you are a new graduate or a subject matter expert, if you have an interest in contributing to clinical education that drives medicines access equity then we would love you to express an interest in becoming involved.

Gout - November 2021

We are building our next EPiC dashboard and we need your help to make sure that it delivers for primary care!

We are looking for health professionals to take part in one of two focused workshops. We will be asking participants to consider a number of data stories that illustrate how well primary care is ensuring that urate-lowering medicines are regularly dispensed to people with gout.

What we need:

  • Group one: Primary care generalists, clinicians who work with people with gout as part of their day-to-day role, but gout is not your specialty.
  • Group two: Gout subject matter experts, clinicians who live, breathe and sleep gout management (rheumatologists, clinical quality champions, PHO pharmacists, nurse leaders, etc).

What we offer: An interesting hour with a group of like-minded professionals discussing ways to improve the management of gout in Aotearoa, a certificate of attendance for your professional development portfolio, and a thank you gift of $150.

Time commitment: 30 minutes pre-reading, 60 minutes Zoom workshop.
